Today's Harbor is a home for neglected and abused children in La Porte, Texas. They offer kids safety, security, and a warm place to rest their heads, but more importantly, they offer children something even more beautiful: an ordinary life.

Photography was chosen that makes everyday things feel extraordinary: Running through a field so fast you might fall over; blowing bubbles as big as your head; swinging so high your feet could touch the sky. In the artwork, the uplifting wind is filled with everyday objects—shoes, socks, a pencil, an apple, a baseball—simple icons become a system of support.
