FAZER UMA CANÇÃO

“LET’S MAKE A SONG”
A Tribute to José Barata-Moura

José Barata-Moura is a Portuguese philosopher and activist. In the 1970s and 80s, he wrote and performed songs for children that were inspired by cultural values and important historical events. The Carnation Revolution, a rebellion to overthrow the authoritarian dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, was a main source of inspiration for his music and leadership. To pay tribute to his influence and contributions to Alex

The tribute show was created by Alex D’Alva Teixiera, of the pop music group D’ALVA, and produced by The Prague Theater of the São Luiz Teatro Municipal. We collaborated on the concept for the poster, which features Alex playing the role of Barata-Moura in his studio where is he writing and performing his songs for the audience of children.
